What is a SIP provider?

10

We will talk about the most modern type of communication, based on the most modern achievements as a result of the creation of new generation networks. Regardless of the actual location of the subscriber, you can save on long-distance and international calls. To become a user of SIP telephony, you only need to have high-speed Internet access, although at least you need to have an Internet connection at a speed of 64 Kbps, but you should keep in mind that the quality of the connection and the number of interruptions are directly proportional to the connection speed. Personally, I have a speed of 100 Mbps, and I call different countries of the world, and there has not been a single gap, and I am very pleased with the prices.

With this type of connection, you can make calls from anywhere! If only there was Internet access. To start calling, you need to buy a special IP phone or IP gateway. This very IP phone looks like a traditional phone, only the Internet protocol is used, and the IP gateway is a small device that allows you to connect IP telephony to this very traditional phone, and it has a very compact design that allows you to take it with you on vacation / a business trip, it is inexpensive, around 1-3 tr, there are also specialized VoIP gateways for connecting entire PBXs, for example, in the office. But all of the above does not interfere with using telephony and with the help of a regular computer, you can install a special "Softphone" and use it at no extra cost, for this you need only three things: Computer, Internet and Money on the personal account. And you can call anywhere, most operators have a "Call Back" service. It was created so that if you, for example, cannot use a computer for a conversation for some reason (you are outside, there is no microphone / speakers, etc.).

You can use it in different ways, for example: 1. A special program is installed on a mobile phone (at the moment they are available for all cell phone platforms – Java, Android, WinMobile, Symbian, BlackBerry, iOS, etc.), you set in settings your phone number, then with its help a phone number is dialed, data is sent via the Internet with the number you dialed, and as soon as they are sent, after a few seconds, your phone receives an incoming call from the number of your VoIP operator, you answer, and the connection goes on, through the operator – SIP subscriber – SIP node – Interlocutor).

2 An SMS is sent with the number you need to a certain short number of the Sip operator (the cost should usually not exceed 3-5 rubles per SMS), as soon as it arrives (in theory, no more than one minute) – again, you receive an incoming call and you are connected to your interlocutor. 3 In the personal account of your SIP provider, dial the number you need, and then everything is the same as above. The only negative is that you pay extra for this service according to the tariff. Business people, most likely, will appreciate the possibility of creating a corporate network and saving significant amounts of money in negotiations with subscribers located a hundred or even a thousand kilometers from you. You can even communicate for free within the network of your operator, i.e. if you and your interlocutor have an IP phone/softphone, you are connected to the same provider, then you can chat absolutely free. Many providers allow even their users not only to hear, but also to see their interlocutor, using the so-called "Video Communication".
