Google is implementing a new feature in its Chrome Canary build that allows users to create Windows desktop shortcuts that automatically launch the browser in incognito mode.

Incognito is a privacy mode built into Google Chrome that prevents browsers from saving your browsing history, cookies, site data, or form information.

This mode prevents other users using your browser from seeing what websites you have visited or logging into your accounts using saved cookies.

In the new version of Chrome, the anonymous shortcut feature is not enabled by default, to make it available download Chrome Canary and go to chrome://flags. Now find " Desktop Shortcut " as shown below and check " Enable Desktop Shortcut in Incognito Mode ".

To create a shortcut, you first need to launch Incognito in the usual way, namely by going to Settings > New Incognito Window.

After launching in incognito mode, you can click on the “Incognito" icon and a new option called “Create Shortcut” will appear.

When you click the "Create Shortcut" option, a Chrome Canary shortcut is created on the desktop, which launches the browser directly in incognito mode with the following command:
